Company History
Colorado Standby was formed in 1999 to sell generators along the Front Range of Colorado and surrounding areas. Believe it or not the Y2K scare gave us our start, and we have never looked back. Eventually the product line was expanded to include RV, Commercial Mobile, and Industrial Equipment.
Over the past 20+ years, Colorado Standby has developed an industry reputation for superb customer service and product quality, attracting high profile customers from the US Government and Military, City and County Municipalities, Commercial and Industrial Businesses, and everyday retail customers. As we’ve grown, so has our product offerings and capabilities, which now include full sale & service of industrial engines and more. Not only can we service the generator, we can also service the engine inside!
We offer customers one source for turn-key power generation Installation for residential generators, commercial generators and industrial generators which includes: generator sizing, location, permitting, electrical, and gas installation, as well as, factory warranty testing and preventive maintenance. Customers only need to deal with one company for complete, safe, and reliable power generation systems. We hold inventory on many products, but if we don't physically have it on one of our shelves, you will see an icon over the "Add to Cart" button that will indicate if it ships direct from the factory. If you request a quote, we will let you know when the quote is sent to you.
